Imagine If … We ALL Pitched In…What a difference we could make!
The Shippensburg University Alumni Association is teaming up with SU faculty, staff, student organizations, alumni and the local community to make a difference during Homecoming 2008 and show everyone how much Shippensburg University cares.
With everyone feeling the economic pinch this year, the Shippensburg King's Kettle is struggling to feed those in need, especially during the upcoming holidays. Please help those less fortunate by participating in the association's first annual Homecoming service project. Food collection locations will be available throughout Homecoming week on the SU campus and the following: Rife Alumni House, Shippensburg Chamber of Commerce, Shippensburg Public Library and the Red & Blue Alumni Tent prior to the football game. Members of the Alumni Board of Directors will be delivering donations to King's Kettle on Friday, October 24 from 2-4 p.m. We invite you to join us and help organize and stock their shelves during this time. Thank you in advance for your support and helping Shippensburg University make a difference everyone can feel good about! (No imagination required.)
