What is a hold?

Holds keep students from being able to schedule their classes or obtain a transcript.   If a hold has been placed on your file, the appropriate office must clear your file before your appointment time ends.  To check to see if you have any holds, click on the “Check for Holds” link at the “Registrar” section of the Student Information System.
