| SHIPPENSBURG UNIVERSITY SIFE TEAM WINS AT REGIONAL COMPETITION
Shippensburg , Pennsylvania, March 29, 2006: The Shippensburg University Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Team (formed in January, 2005) returned to Shippensburg as winners after participating in the Philadelphia SIFE USA Regional Competition in March 28. The event was one of 17 SIFE USA Regional Competitions being held across the United States in March and April.
After presenting a report of their year-long community outreach projects to a panel of business leaders, the Shippensburg University SIFE Team was named a SIFE USA Regional Champion in the overall competition for the second consecutive year. In addition, the Team was named a finalist in the National Market Economics Competition sponsored by Aflac, the National Financial Literacy Competition Sponsored by HSBC, and the National Entrepreneurship Competition Finalist Sponsored by Sam's Club. The team advanced to the national level of SIFE competition, at the SIFE USA National in Kansas City, Missouri

SIFE USA National Exposition in Kansas City May 21-23
(KANSAS CITY, MO) The Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) team was one of more than 130 SIFE four-year college teams from across the nation competing at the 2006 SIFE USA National Exposition hosted by the Kansas City Business Community on May 21-23 in Kansas City, Missouri. One team emerged as the Radio Shack SIFE USA National Champion. That team was the SIFE team from Graceland University in Independence, Missouri. They will move on to represent the United States at SIFE World Cup 2006 in Paris, France competing against national champions from more than 40 other countries.
SIFE is an international non-profit organization active on over 1800 university campuses in more than 40 countries. SIFE Teams create economic opportunities in their communities by organizing outreach projects that teach: market economics, entrepreneurship, personal financial success skills and business ethics. Their projects are judged at competition on creativity, innovation and effectiveness.
Since their inception, SU SIFE has developed and implemented 19 projects in the Shippensburg community since January of 2005. These projects provide educational outreach to members of the community in the principles of free enterprise. Projects included educating Future Business Leaders of America on the importance of business ethics in the world today, educating high school students about the effects of inflation, and promoting personal financial management.
