The American Association for  Career Education (AACE) selected Ship's Career Education Department for AACE's '05 Award for Excellence and Innovation.  Doug NIchols applied for the Award with the AACE President's encouragement in honor of his student assistants and colleagues supplying the Independent Review  Committee with the required documentation.  According to Nichols, this is a great honor for SU to be recognized nationally by a highly respected peer group. Justine Kern, '05 Business Mangement major, who worked in Career Ed. with Nichols for four years is pictured below with him holding the AACE Award plaque.
