Dr. C. George Boeree

General Psychology provides you with an overview of the field of psychology.  The course will familiarize you with the basic terms and theories, as well as with some classic and recent research.  It is primarily a lecture course, but I would like to encourage you to ask questions and make comments in class.  Welcome!

Text:  There is no physical text for this course.  All the chapters you will need are available by clicking on the links below.  They will take you, as if by magic, to the appropriate materials.  It is always best to read the assigments before class.

Grades: Your grade will be based on the total number of correct answers on four multiple choice tests.

90 -100% = A
80 - 89%  = B
70 - 79%  = C
60 - 69%  = D

Be careful:  I do not provide "extra credit" projects, so take each test seriously.  Also note that if you miss a test, nothing less than an official excuse will get you a makeup.
