Personality Theories

PSY 240

webspace.ship.edu/cgboer/perssyl.html

Dr. C. George Boeree

This course will examine a number of the best known theories of personality.

Text:  There is no text to buy.  I have put my own “e-text” on the internet so that you can read it there or download it or print it out to read at your leisure.  Clicking on the theorist’s name in the outline to the right will get you to the actual chapter.

If you do not have access to the internet personally, there are computers available at the computer labs on campus.  If you have no experience with the internet, please find a friend in the class to help you, or ask the people at the computer labs.

Grades: Your grade will be based on the total number of correct answers on four multiple choice tests of 50 questions each.

90 -100% = A
80 - 89%  = B
70 - 79%  = C
60 - 69%  = D

The test dates listed to the right are subject to change.  Please take each test seriously -- I do not offer "extra credit" projects.  Also note that you will need a Dean's excuse if you miss a test!
