PA Masters State Road Race Championship A PA-Cycling Association BAR Event |
The Nutcracker
is a challenging road race through the orchards of Adams County and the Michaux
State Forest. Includes a 10 mile rolling circuit (2 - 4 laps) plus a challenging
ascent to the top of South Mountain. Finish is approximately 7 miles from start
area.

RACE LOCATION
| Start: | South Mountain Fairgrounds, approximately 2 miles west of Arendtsville, on PA 234. |
| Finish: | Approx. 7 miles west near Big Flat (top of South Mountain) on Shippensburg Rd. |
DIRECTIONS
| From Baltimore/Washington: | Drive N and W on I-795, MD 140, MD 97 to Gettysburg, then follow directions below. |
| From Gettysburg/ points East: | N. on PA 34 approx. 7 miles to Biglerville. Turn left (W) on PA 234 and go through Arendtsville to South Mountain Fairgrounds, approx. 4 miles. |
| From the West/points South on I-81: | Take U.S. 30 East over South Mountain to PA 234, N. on 234 approx. 10 miles to South Mountain Fairgrounds. |
| From Harrisburg: | U.S. 15 S. to Heidlersburg, PA 234 W. through Arendtsville to Fairgrounds. |
