Welcome to the Shippensburg University Volunteer Service Office website!!!
The Volunteer Service Office (VSO) exists to help all students with any service-related want, desire, or need. We are here to assist students and faculty with getting connected with service projects and ideas in the area and with helping organize campus service projects. We would like to encourage students to think beyond the typical views of service and be creative in taking action in their care towards others.
A variety of student service clubs are here at Ship to provide opportunities for volunteering. Regardless of how much free time students may have, we hope that all students will consider these opportunities as a great way to meet other people, to learn about the Shippensburg community, to grow in character and leadership development, and have a great time.

Mission of the Shippensburg University Volunteer Service Office
The mission of the Volunteer Service Office at Shippensburg University is to promote civic engagement through service-learning and volunteerism. Our goal is to provide students with gainful opportunities to stimulate character development and promote community involvement. These opportunities will provide them with knowledge and insights inspiring a vision to become responsible citizens and future leaders.
