Judicial Affairs
The basic philosophy of discipline at Shippensburg University is one that is based on education. The judicial proceedings are neither legalistic nor punitive in nature. Rather, the procedure stresses the growth and development of each student how to live more harmoniously and productively within a diverse and dynamic academic community. As a result, it is hoped that students will develop better decision making skills, a better understanding of their responsibilities to the Shippensburg community, and increased personal insight.
