PRAXIS I & II RETEST: We are pleased to announce that the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Educational Testing Service will continue to offer the re-test program for Praxis I and II certification and licensure tests. This program allows your School of Education or certifying district to provide a certificate for a free re-test to an individual who has failed his or her Praxis I or II test. The certificate will cover the cost of the test fee as well as the test registration fee, if the latter is necessary.
 
In order for an individual to be eligible for a certificate to re-test, they must meet all of the following criteria: 

 Have a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher
 Have missed the state passing score by 3 points or less  
 Have failed the test no more than twice
