The Environmental
Steering Committee is pleased to announce SU's first Earth Day speaker,
Dr. George Woodwell, founder, director emeritus, and senior scientist
at the Woods Hole
Research Center. Dr. Woodwell will be speaking about the urgent
issue of climate change in his talk entitled “Awkward Facts about
Climate Change: Laissez Faire Hell or Garden of Eden?” He will be
speaking on Thursday April 24 at 3:30 pm in Rowland Hall 200. Everyone

Ruud helps Emilie Kohler sort through trash to separate the recylables
as part of SU's Recyclemania competition. SU is one of 400 colleges and
universities nationwide participating in the competition, which runs
