Prospective and Incoming First Year Students

Shippensburg University requires all incoming first-year students to reside in campus housing, unless the student is commuting from the home of their parent / guardian. For more information on the residence requirement, click here.

Fall 2008 Incoming Freshman and Transfer students can now go online at Admissions, Applications Status to enter housing information. The Housing Office implemented a new system in order to better serve you. You can enter building and personal attibute information. Look for lottery information on the overview screen to enter roommate preferences. No rooms will be available under the room selection area because the Housing Office will make all new student room assignments. Preferences can be entered and edited until June 1st. Preference will be given based on the student's confirmation date. Assignments will be posted on the overview Screen by August 1st.
