Completing $100 Housing Deposit 2009-2010

The University will not accept or process any deposits mailed to University offices. We will not be able to process a deposit without an e-mail receipt. E-mails will be sent to students approved for Stone Ridge Commons and all returning students who have signed an on-line housing agreement. No deposits will be accepted before January 27, 2009. Housing deposits for 2009-2010 agreements will be applied to the Spring Semester bill. Deposits will be forfeited as stated in the housing agreement and the cancellation guidelines.
Checks should be made payable to Shippensburg University.
Payments can also be made in cash or with a Discover, VISA, or MasterCard.

University housing will not be guaranteed for students who have not signed a housing agreement and paid the deposit by 4:00 p.m. on February 6, 2009.
When to Pay Deposit
Stone Ridge Commons students must pay the $100 housing deposit on January 27th and 28th. If the agreement and housing deposit are not completed by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28th the entire application will be rejected. Students will receive an e-mail if they are accepted to Stone Ridge Commons. If a student is notified he/she is responsible to verify that all roommates have received the acceptance e-mail and make the agreement and deposit on time.
Seavers Apartment Complex and Traditional Hall Students will sign the housing agreement on-line January 25, 2009 through January 30, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. If the housing agreement is completed correctly the student will receive an e-mail receipt by Friday, January 30, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. This receipt e-mail should be taken to the Student Accounts Office in Old Main Room 100 from Monday, February 2nd - Friday, February 6th in order to pay a housing deposit. If the agreement and housing deposit are not completed by Friday, February 6, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. a student is not guaranteed housing for the 2009-2010 academic year. See waiting list.
