Logging into Blackboard
Log into Blackboard by navigating to the Shippensburg University home page and clicking on the Distance Education link and selecting the Blackboard logo or type http://blackboard.ship.edu in the address bar of your browser window.
OR
You are now on the Blackboard Portal Page. This page is important because it will contain:
- announcements from our Blackboard System Administrator concerning system performance,
- a link to report problems by clicking on the "Report a Problem" link,
- a link to access the Blackboard Log-in page by clicking on the words "Click Here."
You will need to use your username to log into the Blackboard platform. If you have not obtained this information, please see the instructions under the First Steps: SIS & Email link located in the navigation bar to your left.
After clicking on the Click Here link you will be taken to the Blackboard Login page. Follow the example listed on the Blackboard login page under Login Instructions to sign into Blackboard.
Shippensburg University has gone to a single sign-on. That means that you will use your SU Email Username and Password to sign into Blackboard. NOTE: You must use your entire username. For example jd9999@ship.edu.
You have successfully logged into Blackboard when you see the Welcome Screen located on the My Institution tab.
