The Director of Instructional Design and Development Services, staff and student employees provide support for faculty in the development and use of multimedia in the classroom and in an online environment. The lab is staffed and maintained to provide an area for faculty to work on multimedia presentations and other technology related projects. Various hardware, software, and peripherals are provided for faculty use.

The office and lab are located in the lower level of the Lehman Library, rooms 012 and 015 [Map]. This area consists of Instructional Design & Development Services (IDDS) and the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT).

Professional Development Opportunities

Individualized Workshops

Our personalized one-to-one training sessions give you that Just-In-Time information that you need. If you are requesting a help session by email, please comment on the specific issues you would like to discuss so that we can use the time we have together efficiently.

Individual Consultation

We can meet with you on a one-on-one basis to discuss how Blackboard and any of our other support software packages can be used to support your teaching efforts.

Departmental Workshops

If you find that everyone in your department has the same question or wants to know about the same software program you can schedule a departmental workshop. The workshops can cover specific issues related to supported software or you can schedule one of our regular workshops sessions for your department.
