The Control Panel
Overview of the Control Panel
Instructors have access to the Control Panel through a Button at the bottom of the Navigation Menu. Only Instructors (and users with certain assistant roles) have access to the Control Panel; students will never see the Control Panel button in the Navigation Menu.

Instructors can also access the Control Panel by clicking on a Navigation Menu item as if entering to see the student view of that section. Once you are in that area, click on “Edit View” in the upper-right section of the content window. Note: In order to access the Announcement area, you must enter the area through the Control Panel. The Announcement section does not contain the EDIT VIEW option.
All the tools needed to build and manage the course are located in the Control Panel.
