Teaching with Blackboard
Shippensburg University is using the Blackboard Enterprise system. The Enterprise system automatically generates courses and enrolls students in the appropriate course shell. Therefore, if you are scheduled to teach a course, the course shell will be automatically created in Bb. It is your choice to use the course shell or leave it empty. If you decide not to use your course shell, you may want to make the course unavailable. If you are scheduled to teach a course and are listed in the “info” system as STAFF, the course shell will be created, but you will not be in the course as the instructor and will not have access to the course shell. (see box to the right)
