Gradebook and Assessment
New Features Include:
- Assessments may now be set to unlimited attempts or a specified number of attempts. Once you've set this option a new option becomes available in the Gradebook.

- Assessments may be deployed as self-assessments and not included in gradebook score calculations.

- Questions may be designated as "Extra Credit" in assessments. The points possible for the assessment will not include the points for the extra credit question.

- Instructors will have the option to import and export assessments in the Test Manager. Instructors can also copy a single assessment from one course into another.

- Instructors can add comments to each Graded Attempt. Comments are viewed by Students when they review their grades.As well, any assessment generated through Blackboard is available for comments once the assessment is in progress or completed. Manual grade, though, must be entered to add a comment.
To add comments, do the following:
- Go to the Modify Grade page by clicking a grade, a hypen, or the lock symbol within the gradebook spreadsheet.
- Select Modify Comments from the Modify Grade page to add or edit a comment. Make sure pop-up blockers are off.

- Click on an assignment.
- In the Item Options page, select Item Grade List.
- Select Modify Comments.
