Purpose

A helper application helps you complete a specific task. For instance, WS_FTP is a helper application that aids in the transfer of files from your PC or MAC to the server for display on the Internet.

WS_FTP

WS_FTP Pro is a Windows-based FTP (file transfer protocol) client software. It enables users move files between local and remote systems. If WS_FTP is not on your computer, please contact the Computer Center at x3499 and ask to have WS_FTP installed on your computer.

Fetch

Fetch is a MAC-based FTP (file transfer protocol) client software. It enables users move files between local and remote systems. Apply for a free license.

WinZip

WinZip is loaded all all Windows-based PC's on campus. Zip files are single files, sometimes called "archives", that contain one or more compressed files. Zip files make it easy to keep related files together and make transporting, e-mailing, downloading and storing data and software faster and more efficient. WinZip retails for $29.95. Scanning Software
