Purpose

Respondus is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard. Exams can be created offline using a familiar Windows environment, or moved from one eLearning system to another. The University has purchased a campus-wide software. The license is available to all faculty and must be renewed on your computer every year.

How do I request a Respondus software download key?

  1. Go to “Download Respondus Software” website at, http://support.keystoneu.net/respondus/download.cgi
  2. Provide your contact information > click, “Access Respondus Download” button
  3. Note: You will receive an email reply from the system administrator with the URL, Access Key information, and instructions for downloading the software. The download site is only good for 24 hours, so download the software at your office and at home before the 24-hours expires. If you need more time or later decide to re-install the software, pelase register again at the same site.

How do I access the download for the Respondus software?

  1. You will need the email from the system administrator as noted in Step #1.3 above
  2. Follow the instructions in the email
  3. Note: You can download this software on your office computer, home computer, notebook, lab computer, etc. FYI: This software will expire July 31of every year and a new access key will be needed to continue using the software. Put that date/info on you calendar.
