Purpose

A component of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word is a word processing program that provides a way for faculty to create letters, memos and reports. Add graphics and multimedia elements to your Word document to make it spectacular. The current version of Microsoft Office is Office 2007.

Cost

Although Microsoft Office is placed on all campus computers, Word can be purchased separately or with Microsoft Office Professional. Microsoft Office Professional 2007 retails for $439.00 while Word retails for $119.00.
