Before I attempt to write your letter, I ask you to do several things. By doing these you help me to write a much more personal and detailed account of your qualifications!

1. A printed copy of your Shippensburg University transcript. This can be the unofficial version that you can print from InfoShip. Please highlight the classes you have taken with me.
2. A current resume that details your work experience, extra-curricular activities, etc. If there are other items that you would like to append to your resume that you feel might help, please feel free to do so.
3. A completed and signed copy of my Letter of Recommendation Release Form . By filling out and signing this form you are certifying that you have given me permission to discuss your academic performance (including all of the grades on your transcript and my perceptions of your abilities), extracurricular activities, work history, etc. Because employers / grad. schools, etc. sometimes call to follow up on a letter of recommendation or your application, you also are giving me permission to speak with them should the need arise. I will not write a letter for you with out this completed document.
