General Information
- What is the College Algebra Boot Camp?
- It is a self-paced review experience using the ALEKS
website.
- Through this program, you will be able to test your
knowledge and review basic concepts that are fundamental to
the College Algebra course.
- The Boot Camp is not a course and does not earn you college
credit.
- This resource is designed to refresh your basic skills to
hopefully be more successful in College Algebra.
- How do I sign up for the Boot Camp?
- Click this link to register for the Boot Camp: http://www.aleks.com/sign_up/class?class_code=nenum-ffgqu
- Registration costs $20 and gives access to ALEKS for 12
months. This means that you can continue to use ALEKS to
review basic algebra skills during your College Algebra course
and beyond.
- Make sure that you register with your Shippensburg email
account.
- What do I do after registering?
- ALEKS will begin with a brief tutorial to make sure you are
comfortable with the math palette tools before your initial
Placement Assessment begins.
- The tutorial shows you how to enter different types of
answers, how to use the ALEKS calculator, and how to graph.
- If you aren’t sure how to input an answer or need help while
you are taking the ALEKS Placement Assessment, select the Help
button below the answer pallet tools.
