Vice President for Elementary Schools

We need someone to represent the concerns of our elementary schools. The Vice President for Elementary Schools must attend 2 – 3 meetings a year including one at the annual conference and help plan and execute the activities of the council. It’s a minimal commitment for some rewarding and fun work!  Please contact Bob Dandoy if you are interested in this position.

NCTE/Pearson Prentice Hall Leadership Development Award

Are you energetic? Are you in your first five years of teaching? If so, you may qualify for the NCTE/Pearson Prentice Hall Leadership Development Award which provides a considerable stipend to attend the NCTE National Convention.  Next year’s NCTE Conference will be in San Antonio, TX and, of course, in 2009 PCTELA plays host to the NCTE National Convention in Philadelphia, PA!  Contact Bob Dandoyif you are interested in this position.
