Tutoring at the Learning Center

The Learning Center provides free tutoring for all students enrolled at Shippensburg University. Our tutors are dedicated to helping students through one-on-one tutoring and small group sessions to develop independent learning skills and assist in content support in most general education courses including math, English, sciences, and modern languages.

Our tutors work toward College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) certification and are highly trained and capable in assisting students achieve their learning goals.

Students who want to meet with a tutor should make sure they are prepared for their session by bringing materials that will help to make the session more productive, such as: textbooks, lecture notes, assignments, syllabus, and any other related course materials.
