Satellite Teleconferencing |
Media Services has a satellite dish with a dual "KU" and "C" band receiver. There are various locations available for viewing these teleconferences. Grove 006 is scheduled through our office. It seats up to 30 people and has a ceiling mounted video projector installed. The Forum in Grove Hall seats 150 people and can be scheduled through the Business Dean's office (ext 1435). It also has a ceiling mounted video projector. Another option is to have the signal transmitted to the CUB or to Dormitory Lobbies through the campus cable system.
Two-way audio can be arranged through a telephone hook-up at any of these locations.
The party requesting the teleconference is responsible for registering for and the registration fees involved in the teleconference.
