Modern Languages Internships

Students in the Modern Languages Department have the opportunity to hone their language skill by doing internships. Most of them are 3 credits, some are one credit but can be repeated 3 times. During their internships, the students perform a variety of tasks, from translating and interpreting to helping with children and developing materials useful for immigrants in the area. The larger number of internships involve Spanish but occasionally the opportunity arises in French and German as well. The majority of internships are not paid.
