Diane L. Jefferson | Director of the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs

Welcome to the Shippensburg University Office of Multicultural Student Affairs web-page. As you browse the page, I hope you will be excited and inspired by what you learn.

When I'm asked to describe the MSA, I usually reply, "We are a family," a family who supports, advocates, challenges and encourages one another to succeed. Our mission is to educate and graduate students who will possess a vision for leadership and a will to excel. One of my favorite quotes is, "Mediocrity is not an option." MSA touches the lives of people who will shape the future.

MSA is a student-centered place where all are welcome. Located in Gilbert Hall 200 on the campus of Shippensburg University, the office is open each day from 8:00am - 4:30pm as well as evening hours upon request.

Shauntae M. Doughty | Assistant to the Director of the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs

Hello, my name is Shauntae M. Doughty, and I am the Assistant to the Director of Office of Multicultural Student Affairs. I am excited to have the oppurtunity to work so closely with both the students and faculty on campus. As a recent graduate of Shippensburg University and a member of the Multicultural Student Affairs office myself, I am familiar with all the hard work and dedication it takes to assist the students with achieving their goals of graduating as well as providing services to the campus community.

With the MSA staff we strive to create a "Home Away From Home" for students who reach out for cultural guidance at Shippensburg University. As a team we are committed to establishing relationships with students campus wide and exposing them to culturally diverse experiences. In putting academics first, I am ready and willing to assist our students in anyway!

Welcome to the MSA!
