ResNet GameLAN is a local area network that runs "on top of ResNet." It allows you to play all of your network games within your Residence Hall and across Residence Halls! GameLAN is compatible with PCs and game consoles such as Playstation 2 and XBox 360.

GameLAN works and feels just like a network you use when playing at a LAN party. Best of all, you can use it in the comfort of your room- no more lugging your PC and that 30 pound 21" CRT monitor across campus!

Connecting to the GameLAN is easy!  Once you've registered your computer or game device, just visit My.ResNet and select the GameLAN menu.  Select the device and click the "Move to GameLAN"  option.  The device will instantly be moved to the GameLAN.  If you want to move the device back to the ResNet network just repeat the process.

The GameLAN is only available in the residence halls and is only available on the ResNet Standard (wired network) service.
