Shippensburg 76, Bloomsburg 75

Vickie Mikesic made two free throws with five seconds left to give Shippensburg enough edge to defeat Bloomsburg 76-75. Bloomsburg had taken a 72-71 lead with 46 seconds left on a layup by Jen Bryan. She was assisted by Jen Spinelli. Shippensburg regained the lead as Steph Rothery passed around a defender from the top of the key to an open Christa Cline under the basket. She made the layup to put Shippensburg on top 73-72 with 20 seconds left. Spinelli missed a jumper with six seconds left and Shippensburg’s Katie Bray collected the rebound. Shippensburg retained possession because of the intentional foul.
