National magazine ranks Shippensburg among the best in region
U.S. News & World Report again ranks Shippensburg University among the top universities in the North in its book “America's Best Colleges 2009.” In the annual rankings, Shippensburg is tied for 58th among all institutions in the North region.

Ribbon cutting marks opening of renovated academic building
A red ribbon was cut today to symbolically open the newly renovated and expanded Dauphin Humanities Center at Shippensburg University. Various members of the campus community and others involved with the project cut the ribbon this afternoon followed by tours of the facility.

University opens 2008-09 academic year Aug. 25
Shippensburg University has opened its new academic year with renovated facilities, a slight increase in enrollment and construction projects under way or planned to enhance the university’s future.

University sets annual Day of Human Understanding Sept. 23
Shippensburg University will host its annual Day of Human Understanding Sept 23 to help students gain a greater perception of individual differences and understand why it is important to accept these experiences. The day features a discussion at 7 pm. in Memorial Auditorium on immigration by guest speakers Dan Stein and Enrique Morones.
