New York City Field Trip
The field trip commenced on October 5th, 2012 from 7am until 9pm
The Art & Design Department orchestrates a trip to New York City every year for students who are looking to experience the beauty the city has to offer. The big apple is the perfect venue to provide unique shoots that can not be found anywhere else in the world. The first stop was to historic Battery Park, which was the world's first immigrant depot. Today, the park has been transformed into a thrivng garden located on the water. Then the tour lead them to the Grand Central Terminal, which is known as the heart of New York City. The bustling station became an execllent backdrop to capture the essence of the city's inhabitants and their surroundings. The last major stop on their tour was the Observation Deck of the famous Empire State Building. The view laied out the entire city for them to use as their canvas. The end result of the opportunity is an array of digital fine art inspired by the highest populated city in the United States.
