The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays.
Shippensburg University Visual Arts Department is a place of learning, personal growth, and artistic development. These qualities can be cultivated and put to the test in The Kauffman Gallery of Shippensburg University. This gallery hopes to advance the creation and understanding of art and its uniquely vital contribution to society. In our efforts we wish to expand public understanding and appreciation of art. Hopefully this exposure to the visual arts ultimately engages students, academics, and the public in dialogues which advance creativity and intellectual freedom in our culture. The Kauffman Gallery is attempting to bring valuable and exciting art to not only Shippensburg University but the local community and Central Pennsylvania.

In the fall semester of 2012 the Kauffman Gallery displayed two seperate exhibitions that contained works related to the Digital Fine Art Design Printing course. Now those those works of art from those exhibitions can be viewed online.
