The Shippensburg Area Math Circle

Welcome to Our Math Circle

The Shippensburg Area Math Circle is an extracurricular program for children in 4th and 5th grade led by mathematicians Lance and Sarah Bryant. Through hands-on activities that encourage creative problem solving, we aim to inspire young students to explore the richness and beauty of mathematics. Our sessions have featured mathematics used to create artwork, perform magic tricks, explore outer space, and much more. We believe familiarity with mathematical concepts enriches a person’s life experiences in a fundamental way, just like the ability to read increases his or her potential for success and enjoyment in any career. If your child loves mathematics, or likes to explore patterns and solve puzzles, please consider joining us for the next session.
