  • Twitter is mini-blog.
  • Messages can be no long than 140 characters. The standard text message length in most places is 160 characters per message.  We reserve 20 characters for people's names, and the other 140 are all yours!
  • Tweets are what you are saying in the twitter.
  • A mention is any Twitter update that contains @username in the body of the tweet.
