This section provides a forum for current scholarship on British women's plays
written between 1770 and 1840, as well as on related theatrical
and cultural contexts. Historical, editorial, critical, and archival
perspectives are sought from those doing new work in the field.
Subjects can include but are not bounded by the following categories:
editorial introductions to playscripts; discussion of archival
collections; summaries of new projects; review essays; reflections
on theoretical and historiographical approaches; responses to essays
published at this site.
